The grades 3/4 class bad "Groundhog
Vote" ! Three students voted that the
groundhog would see his shadow on
Eebrruarry, while 19 students decided that
the groundhog would not see his shadow.
Nineteen students are now smiling
because they successfully predicted that.
winter will not last for six more weeks.
They expeot to be suntanning next week!
Grade4
We had -e very "happy" week in grade
four this past week. On Thursday,
everyone helped to make a wipe for
'friendship. Some of the ingredients we
decided were necessary are: being kind,
considerate, patient, and a good listener.
Weare all trying 'to follow our'recipes. in
health, we have completed our 'Nutrition
unit and are studying for our quiz which
will be hekl next week. l `McLean was
our star of the week. She brought in a stuff-
ed rabbit that she received when she was

number of activities this week. Our En-
vironmental Studies projects have been
finished up and we have started a battery
and bulb unit. We are:pretty well finished
our fraction imit in math.
In addition :to our regular activities, we
had an interesting riiscussion on gun con-
trol and Blastic gun replicas. We deemed

class went downhill skiing at Talisman Ski
Resort. We hada Of injuries but
