Gr.5 Mrs. itiorsell's clams working on In- dependent Animal Activities, and they are aLsomading Animal Stories. Gr. -518,11m.1 Mr. Spittel's class has been drawing some neat designs using geometric figures. We are just finishing np,our two novels, MT -eller -and Karate Kid. Friday is "Onion day", everyone has to rat onions math their-lim. This flhe us healthy. Next -Friday is "Wear your slad's ugliest tie day". So tiad, look out! Gr.6,111n. 12 Room 12 has enjoyed _having the com- puter in our room for the past few weeks. We have been busy trying out for the Volleyball teams. We hope everyone is successful! In math -we are•starting exponents and fac- tors.`This week in spelling we are learning winter words. We have also started a Novel Study unit. The grade 8's are reading the novels and the grade l's are working in "readers". 1?sr.l1,11m. 11 We are working on our speeches. In history we are working on the Rebellions of Upperand Lower Canada. In science we are starting to studyairpressure. We went to 'Tasman on January 27th. We are also switching from shop and 'Family Studies today.
