What Was the
First Christmas Like
There I was sitting minding my own
business, minding my sheep, when all of
a sudden I saw the brightest, biggest star
I had ever seen. As I sat admiring the
star, five angels appeared. They said that
I was to follow the star and bring a gift.
For where the star stopped would be the
saviour, who was sent by God. His
mother would he' Mary and his father
would be Joseph. Then they left.
I picked out my best lamb to take to
the saviour.
I followed the star most of thenight.
Then when I looked up the st r had stop-
ped over a little town call Bethlehem.
As I walked through the little town,
there were people running everywhere.
And whenever I asked anyone where the
saviour that was sent by God, they just
looked at me and walked away. I went to
the best hotels but they all just closed
their doors in my face.
After awhile I decided to find a room
for the night. But every place was full.
Finally I found a stable to sleep in for the
night. There was a family cif three
already there. I explained all about the
angles and the following of the star. Then
a couple, introduced themselves. The
claimed to be Mary and Joseph, and their
son's name was Jesus, the saviour that
was sent by God.
Of course I didn't believe them at first.
Then they told me their story, about God
telling them that Mary would have a
baby boy and his name would be Jesus.
When the baby awakened, I presented
him with the lamb. Then three wise men
came, and presented Jesus with expen-
sive gifts, they started praying beside the
manger where the baby Jesus was lying.

Santa Gets Ready
For Christmas
Santa was getting ready to go off into
the cold Winter air. Soon he saw one little
light from the star above the stable. He
saw the Wisemen so he did not go to the
stable because the Wisemen would give
the baby gifts. Santa went right on by to
the other houses.
