meeting of this council will see clerk Joan
Armstrong arrange for the manufacture of
railings for the front steps of the office and
for the purchase of an intercom set for
communication between the office and the
garage.
Let it snow, Let it snow
Our resident weather expert, Mr.
Harold Greer, stopped by the Sentinel
office Monday to report that this
weekend's snowfall was slightly more
than substantial.
Mt. Greer maintains that between
Saturday evening and Sunday evening
this week, we experienced a dumping of
22 inches (55 cm) of the white stuff.
While it couldn't be confirmed that
this amount is in fact a record of any
sort, it is generally agreed that it was
enough to keep Local shovellers busy for
some time.
So it seems there's a pretty good
chance of Lucknow having a white
Christmas...as if there was any doubt.
These little angels, though a bit figgity during rehearsal, certainly delighted the
friends aid family who gathered to see the Christian School students perform the
Christmas story at their annual concert recently. (Rob Bundy photo)
