The Dungannon Senior Citizens Wednes- day Night Card Party was held with 15 tables. High Lady was Pat Koebel; Low Lady was Adeline Allan; High Man was Thys Groen and Low Man was Elmer Trommer. For events coming up with the Seniors, contact one of the Seniors of Dungannon. 1988 Vesper Service The Dungannon Union C.G.I.T. held their Annual Vesper Service on December 4th at 7:30. The title of the Service was "Unexpected Tidings". The welcome was by Penny Hodges followed with the Call To Worship by Kathy Curran. Candle lighters AUNGANNON by Bonnie Hodges for the program were Angela Woods, Amy Glenn, Tracey Curran, Dana Park, and Candice Kay. Scripture readers were Angela Woods, Amy Glenn, Lorissa Sproul, Kathy Curran and Penny Hodges. The prayer of ap- proach was read by Adrienne Schultz. Ruth, the mid -wife, was acted by Tammy Roberts, Mary, the mother of Christ, by Marybeth Dawson, Naomi, the basket weaver, by Jenni Brown, Esperanza from El Salvador by Barbara Nivins and Sarah, the shepherd's daughter, by Denise Curran. Tracy Delbergue gave the offertory prayer and Angela Woods the commission- ing and Benediction. The whole group sang "Away In A Manger" and "Lion and Lamb". Amy Glenn, Candice Kay, Tam- my Roberts, Denise Curran and Adrienne Schultz sang "Gentle Mary Laid Her Child". It was a beautiful service enjoyed by all. Lancers settle for one win, Lucknow Intermediates The Lucknow Lancers continued play in Teeswater Friday night where they were suffered a 10 - 5 loss to the home team. Teeswater opened the scoring late in the first period before Art Clark's shot tied the game shortly after. Teeswater scored one more in the first to take a 2 - 1 lead into the dressing room. The second period of play saw Teeswater strike for four more goals while Lucknow could manage only just two. Allan Eadie and Steve Simpson did the scoring for the Lancers. The Lancers managed to make it in- teresting in the third period when Dave Gibson and Tom Gilmore each scored to make it 6 - 5 in favour of Teeswater...but that's as close as it got as Teeswater scored four unanswered goals to close out the game. The Lancers seemed to get back on track one loss PORTS Sunday night when they took on Kincar- dine. The Lancers scored in the first minute of play and never looked back. First period goals came from Steve Alton, Art Clark and Steve Simpson with two to make it 4 - 1 after one. The Lancers added four more in the se- cond from the sticks of Wayne Phillips, Jamie Johnstone, Steve Simpson and Lynn Murray. Come the third period, Kincardine was left with only five skaters and the Lancers coasted to a 9 - 4 win. The Lucknow Intermediates will take their show on the road as they head to Kin- cardine for a return match with the Kings Friday evening.
