Those whom we love go out of sight,
But never out of mind,
They are cherished in the hearts,
Of those they leave behind.
Loving and kind in all their ways
Upright and just in all their days
Sincere and true in heart and mind,
Beautiful memories they left behind.
Missed and loved by their family Robert,

Giving of their time
The curator's meeting of the
Whitechurch W.I. was held on November 9
in the Whitechurch hall Mrs. John Currie
was convener and Mrs. Fred Tiffin acted
as hostess.
Mrs. Currie opened with a poem from
Scrap Book Memories. The'4-H award that
was given to the institute for sponsoring
the 4-11 projects was shown to the ladies.
' Mrs. Fred Tiffin told the ladies about the
Christmas dinner to be held on Dec. 14 at
noon in the Salvation Army hall in
Wingham at $7.00 per person to be given to
Agnes Farrier before that date.
The roll call was answered by naming
the church of your christening and the
minister Mrs. Farrier gave a report of the
convention at Hepworth in Oct.
Mrs. Gordon Wall reported on the Rally
in Underwood. She also said the sale from
the quilts that went to Participation Lodge
was $13,700 and the top quilt sold for
$690.00.
Mrs. Currie gave the motto "The
Heritage of the past is the seed that brings
forth the harvest of the future". She said,
"if you expect good turnouts at your
meetings, the members will have to give of
themselves, time effort research, energy
to become the key to better programme
planning. Then and only then will women
take time from busy lives to spend a few.
hours at a meeting. Now is the time to look
up and survey the road of the W.I. ahead."
The history books were on display. Mrs.
Currie introduced the guest speaker, Mar-
jorie McMichael of Wroxeter, an animal
health technician. She told of her exchange
to Australia and Tasmania. She was 7
months there on a 12,000 acre farm. She
showed the ladies some very beautiful ar-
tifacts, wool from the sheep, etc.
Lunch was served by the committee of
Mrs. Fred Tiffin, Mrs. Catherin Wilson,
Mrs. Agnes Farrier.
