Christmas lights still glowing
I see more Christmas lights have ap-
peared in the village, the tree in Gore Park
is lit up again and the crossroads have a str-
ing of fairy lights strung across them. It all
adds up to the festive atmosphere that
permeats the air at this time of year.
Donations are still arriving for the Lions
Christmas lights, I received one from L and
M Laundry and Variety this week. The
money will go towards filling in some of the
gaps and extending the lights North, South,
East and West next year.
