MCDONAGH - Mike and Kim welcome
with love a new daughter into their home.
Kyllie Marie was born October 31, 1988 at
the Wingham and District Hospital,
weighing 7 lbs, 5 oz. She is a playmate for
Keshia. Spoiling priviledges go to Bayne
and Jean Letteau of Teeswater and to
Barry and Betty McDonagh, Lucknow.
Great grandparents are Stan and Hazel
Letteau, Teeswater and Iris Haist of
Toronto.
ASKES - Bert and Jenny of RR1 Bluevale
are pleased to announce the safe arrival of
a new daughter, Carolyn Victoria, born
October 25, 1988 at the Wingham and
District Hospital. Carolyn weighed in at 7
lbs, 1 oz and is a wee sister for Marie,
Kathryn and Elizabeth.
VANDERLEI - David and Henriett, RR5
Brussels, are happy to welcome their new
arrival, Alexandria Frances. Born at the
Wingham and District Hospital on October
28, 1988, Alexandria weighed in at 7 lbs, 8
oz at her birth.
DAVID HENRY JEWITT
David Henry Jewitt of Ross Street in
Lucknow passed away at his residence on
Sunday, October 30, 1988. He was 70 years
of age.
David Jewitt was born in Lucknow on
December 1, 1917 the son of William Jewitt
and Annie Spencer. He was never married.
David was a member of the Lucknow
Presbyterian Church and an active
member of the Lucknow Legion Branch
309.
He is survived by one sister, Mary Loth
of Lucknow, and one brother, Gordon
Jewitt of Kitchener. Also surviving are one
niece, Mrs. Shirley Bolt; one great niece,
Debbie RaisFirouz; one great nephew,
Kevin Bolt; one great great niece and one
great great nephew.
David Jewitt was predeceased by one
sister, Sara Hastings, in 1975.
Funeral services were conducted from
the MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral
Home, Lucknow on November 2, 1988 with
Rev. Ramsay officiating.' Lodge services
were held Tuesday, November 1 at the
Legion Branch 09.
Pallbeare for ,the ceremony included
Fred Miln , Vern - u 'es, Irvine Eady,
George An q erson, Floyd Milne, and Eldon
Mann.
A graveside ceremoney was held at the
Greenhill ,Cemetery.

SEARLE - Jerry and Karen Searle
welcome with love and pride their son,
Calin William, born on October 18, 1988, at
Wingham and District Hospital, weighing
6 lbs. 10 oz. Calin is the first grandchild for
Jeff and Lynne Ford of Cleveland Heights,
Ohio and the second for Bill and Johanna
Searle of Lucknow. Proud great grand-
parents are Dorthy Munday and Jim and
Helen Ford all of Montreal and Gerda de-
Jong of Lucknow.
STOREY - Margie and Al of Newmarket
are the proud parents of a son, Branden
Alfred Noble, born on November 3, 1988
weighing 7 lbs 11 oz. Grandparents are
Dorothy and Bill Johnston and great
grandmother, Jessie Johnston all of
Lucknow.
OBITUARIES
William Gordon Finlayson
William Finlayson, 41, of R. 3 Teeswater
died at his residence on October 29, 1988.
Mr. Finlayson was the bank manager at
the Bank of Montreal. He had been involv-
ed in banking for 21 years.
He was born in Kincardine on June 20,
1947.
Mr. Finlayson is survived by his wife
Judy MacKay, and children John and Jen -
nine, both at home.
He is also survived by his mother,
Dorothy Finlayson; sisters, Barbara
Rogerson, Toronto; Jane (Paul)
Emberlin, Toronto; Carol (John Balch)
Finlayson, Toronto; brothers, Rod of Sar-
nia; Alan of Toronto; Ian of Victoria, B.C;
Duncan of Port Elgin and Ken of Toronto.
Mr. Finlayson was predeceased by his
father, Gordon in December 1977.
The funeral service was conducted by
Rev. Hugh Nugent and Rev. William Baird
at McPhersons Funeral Home, Teeswater.
Flowerbearers were Bert Thompson and
John Fieten.
Pallbearers were Rod Finlayson, Alan
Finlayson, Duncan Finlayson, Ken
Finlayson, Paul Emberlin and John Balch.
Interment Lochalsh Cemetery.
