The kindergarten class carved pum-
pkins and had a safe Hallowe'en. On
Thursday we went outside and had fun
playing in the leaves, and buried each

grams, just for us. We are becoming real
computer KIDS!

We finished our "seed" books, and in art,

are learningito share ideas when we work
together and give each other warm fuz-

who are giving some extra help in soun-

polls. The Liberals have taken over,
followed by the P.C. The N.D.P. is in last
place. Mike J. thinks the Bruins will win
the Stanley Cup.
Grade 6
In grade six this week, we had a math
and French test. We did well. Everyone
had fun on Hallowe'en and got lots of
treats. The Grade sixes got their first
chance to go to a dance at the school at
Hallowe'en. The kids in our class that went
danced non-stop.
Grade 7
Everyone in Grade 7 enjoyed the
Hallowe'en dance on Monday. On Tuesday
we walked to the town hall to meet with
reeve Herb Clark and clerk treasurer,
Mrs. Whitcroft. We learned about the
operation and responsibilities of our
municipal government as well as having a
tour of the town hall. We are looking for-

Grade 8
This month the Grade 8" class has been
chosen class of the month. We haven't
chosen what to do in our spare hour yet.
We are also working on essays, poems, and
posters for a Remembrance Day contest.
This ties in with the poem work we have
been doing in English class. On Nov. 2 we
had a substitute teacher as Mr. McKeon
was sick. Thanks for putting up with us
Mrs. Price.
Sports
We all have been running hard to com-
plete laps for badges. Several people have
almost run 100 km.
French Classes
There has been a lot of active learning
taking place in the French classes. Recent-
ly the grade eight and the grade seven
classes were visited by Madame June Van
Bastelaar from the Bruce County Board of
Education. Madame Van Bastelaar show-
ed us some slides of Quebec City. It looks
like a very exciting place to visit.
This week, we will have another visitor,
Francois Robert. Francois is a French ex-
change student. He is currently in our area
to practice English. We are looking for-
ward to his visit.
