Nancy Murray, President of the Ladies Auxiliary of Winter Sports, presents a $7,000 che-
que to Bill Hunter, who accepted on behalf of the Sports Complex Fundraising Commit-
tee. The group also donated $10,000 in the early days of the fund raising. These monies
are profits from the food booth at the arena and are to be used for the benefit of every

Ken and Beth Hodges visited with Jack
and Ruby Smith of Moncton on Tuesday.
Mrs. Lee Shetler of Dungannon attended
the funeral in Sarnia of her aunt, Mrs.
Hugh Chisholm. Lee returned home on
Wednesday.
On Wednesday, Art and Mary Stewart
had a nice visit and supper with Sarah
Ritchie.
Wednesday night card party at Senior
Citizens had 16 tables. High lady, Aileen
Trommer; low lady, Bernice Henry; high
white card, Jean Errington; low white
card, Marie Charbero.
On Saturday Mary Stewart
spent an enjoyable eve lg.wit1 Cecil and
Maxine Pollock in Goderich.
Bridal Shower
A community and relative shower was
held on Sunday at the Agricultural Hall to
honour bride-to-be Donna, Gregory.
Arlene Curran and Margaret Errington
gave readings.
Susan Curran, Donna's maid -of -honour;
Debbie Gregory, Tracey Curran, Lynn
Good and Amber Ritchie helped with the
gifts.
A contest was held and gifts presented to
Dorothy Anderson, Marybelle Cranston,
Cheryl Johnston and Mary Johnston.

Dungannon Agricultural Society
A meeting was held on November 3 to
discuss upcoming events. There will be a
microwave class November 16, 7:30 at the
hall. For further info call Bernice at

November 29 a regular monthly meeting
is to be held. You are invited to come out to
this meeting and become a member of the
society. There is a lot of work to be done in
the. Agricultural Society and they need
you, the people, to help share the load. Br-
ing a friend, bring your ideas and come
and join your community and volunteer
some time.
Dungannon Union Pastoral Charge
A lovely Remer ibrance service was held
at Dungannon with Rev. R. Roberts.
The children's offering is going to the
Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund.
The children's choir sang Why Me Lord.
The anthem was White Cliffs of Dover and
a solo by Miss Helen Elliott, Abide with
Me.
