Mac Cardiff of Brussels visited over the
weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Camp-
bell and with Heather of Ancaster and on
Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Oberholtzer,
Jeff and Julie, Waterloo visited at the
Campbell home to celebrate Heather's
tenth birthday.
Mr. and Mrs. Ted McClenaghen of Kit-
chener visited with Mildred McClenaghen
last weekend and attended the supper at
the Lucknow United Church.
Mr. and Mrs. Marc Sahli, Brian and
Nicole of Windsor visited last weekend
with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Hugh
Simpson.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ducharme of Goderich
visited on Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs.
Elroy Laidlaw. Miss Annie Laidlaw
returned home on Wednesday after being a
patient in the Wingham and District
Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. Ron Nicholson and family
of Egmondville visited on Sunday with Mr.
and Mrs. John deBoer. Also visiting Sun-
day evening at the deBoer home was Mrs.
Roely deBeor and Mrs. Simon deBoer of
Lucknow.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Ross attended the Lin-
coln and Welland Regiment Reunion held
in St. Catherines on the weekend. On their
return on Sunday, they joined in the sur-
prise birthday party for their son, Bob
Ross of Waterloo. Those attending from
here were Mr. and Mrs. David Ross, Brian
Ross, Donald deBoer, Mrs. Agnes Gaunt of
Wingham, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Pennington
and Allan and friend of Wingham, Mr. and

The first meeting was held Oct. 24 at 7
p.m. in the home of Mrs. Betty Ross with
all members present. The roll -call was to
judge four pork chops for texture of meat
and colour.
They then put the right names of the dif-
ferent cuts of meat on a chart and discuss-
ed cured and smoked meats.
Scott Rintoul made pizza soup while
Karen Elliott prepared pork and peaches
which was very tasty.
