Cows traded steady and pigs were sharply higher. There were 985 cattle, 319 pigs, and 87 sheep and goats on offer. Choice Steers sold 83.00 to 86.00 with sales to 89.00 while Good Steers sold 79.00 to 83.00 Five steers - consigned by Maple Emblem Farms of RR 1, Dungannon, averaging 1190 Ib., sold for 86.60, with their total lot of forty-two steers averaging 1215 lb., selling for an average price of 84.76. Twenty-seven steers - consigned by Keith Johnston of RR 2, Bluevale, averaving 1132 lb. sold for an average price of 83.90, and he had sales to 85.50. Two gold steers - consigned by Jim Howatt of RR 1, Londesborough, averaging 1290 Ib. sold for 85.50, with his total lot of twenty-two steers averaging 1200 lb., sell- ing for an overall,price of 83.37. Sixteen steers - consigned by Bill Sellers of RR 2, Bluevale, averaging 1283 lb. sold for an average price of 82.51, with sales to 84.25. Thirty-one steers - consigned by Ralph and Roger Morrison of RR 1, Lucknow, Video camera missing Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce are seek- ing the public's assistance in the investiga- tion of a theft over $1,000 which occurred in the town of Walkerton. The Walkerton police force report that at approximately 6:00 p.m. on August llth, 1987, a theft of video camera took place at Carman Cameras on Durham Street, in Walkerton. The camera was noticed to be missing at closing time, and just after three males had been in the store. The sales clerk recalls speaking with two of the males and showing them other equipment. It is believed that the third male removed the camera form the counter just prior to leaving the store. The camera was a brand new Canon VMEI video camera, 'serial number AB1226584. Camera was valued at $2,000. The three males are described as follows: 1) white male, 30-35 years of age, 5'7" in height, short dark hair, pock mark- ed complexion and spoke with an accent.
