Mary Effie Jean MacQuaig
Mary MacQuaig of Windsor died in Wind
sor Western Hospital on September 5, 1988,
in her 93rd year. •
Miss MacQuaig was a retired teacher
and secretary and had worked in the
Chicago area. She was a member of the
Presbyterian Church and a former
member of the Eastern Star.
Born in Lucknow on May 13, 1896, she
was a daughter of the late Angus .Mac-
Quaig and Effie Nicholson. •
Miss MacQuaig is survived by three
nieces. She was predeceased by five
brothers, five sisters and her parents.
MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral
Home, Lucknow was in charge of the
funeral arrangements. The service was
conducted by Rev. A. Ramsay of the
Lucknow Presbyterian Church on Wednes-
day, September 7.
Interment South Kinloss Cemetery.
HOOD - David and Rosemary (nee
deBoer) thank God for the safe arrival of
Elizabeth Lindsay on August 30, 1988,
weighing 7 lbs. 10 oz. A sister for Robert
John and a grandaughter for Annie and
Tom Hood, Guelph and Hennie and Bill
deBoer of R. 1, Lucknow. A 31st great
grandchild for Mrs. Aaltje vanDonker-
sgoed of Gorrie.

Mary Anne (Annie) Maclntyre
Annie Maclntyre of Lucknow, died in
Wingham and District Hospital, on August
22, 1988 at the age of 92.
Mrs. Maclntyre was a member of South
Kinloss Presbyterian Church, a life
mem'°ber of the W.M.S. and had been an ac-
tive member of the Kairshea W.I.
Born in Kinloss Township on March 24,
1896, she was a daughter of the late John
Ross and Emily MacDougall.
On March 21, 1923, the former Annie
Ross married William Maclntyre, in
Kinloss Township.
She is survived by one son Donald and
his wife Daphnie of Lucknow; a brother,

sey Ann, weighing 8 lbs. 15 oz., on August 9,
1988 at Holy Cross Hospital, Calgary,
Alberta. Big sister Alicia is very excited as
are proud grandparents, Lloyd and Rober-
ta Whytock, Lucknow.
Alex Ross of Huronview, Clinton and a
sister-in-law, Luella Ross of Cayuga.
Seven grandaughters, 10 great grand-
children and one great, great gran -
daughter also survive.
Mrs. Maclntrye was predeceased by her
husband William; two brothers and a
sister in infancy.
Visitation was at the MacKenzie and Mc-
Creath Funeral Home, Lucknow, from
where Rev. A. Ramsay of South Kinloss
Presbyterian Church cpnducted the ser-
vice on August 25.
Flowerbearers were three great grand-
sons, Daniel Maclntyre, Scott Koyle and
Michael Beynen.
Pallbearers were Neal Dale, James
Symes, Gary Cevates, Victor -Labelle,
Allan Graham and Harvey Ross.
Interment South Kinloss Cemetery.
MARKHAM - Chris and Nancy are pleased
to announce the birth of their daughter,
Nicole Marie, on August 29, 1988. Nicole
weighed in at 9 lbs., 4 oz at her birth at the
Kincardine Hospital. Proud grandparents
are Bob and Irene Markham, Lucknow,
and Bob and Donna McDermid or
Kincardine.
Julie MacDonald
Julie Anne MacDonald, daughter of Jim
and Kathy MacDonald of Fredericton,
New Brunswick, graduated recently from
the University of New Brunswick with a
degree in Physical Fitness and Recrea-
tion. Julie is the grandaughter of Ray
Dalton and the late Patricia Dalton, and
Pete MacDonald and the late Margaret
MacDonald. Julie is presently employed
with the YM YWCA of Calgary, Alberta as
a Fitness Co-ordinator.
