Grand- parents are Milne and Judy Gregory of Auburn and Lynda and Don Curran of Dungannon. Todd Park has returned to his 2nd year at Sir Sanford Fleming in Poliee Education. Bill and Marie Park celebrated their 32nd anniversary recently and the whole family were home for the celebration. Congratulations to Heather and Brian Dam who were married on August 19th. They are living in the former Ron Brindley home in Dungannon. Anyone wanting large cucumbers? Grace Finnigan has a bag on the porch - help yourself! Family Affairs meeting The Dungannon Women's Institute met at the Nile United Church Thurs. Sept: 1. President Mary Robson opened the meeting by welcoming everyone. 0 Canada and the Opening Ode were sung, and the Mary Stewart Collect read. Theme of the meeting Family Affairs was in charge of Beth Rutledge. She had as her guest speaker Donna Hayden 4 H leader, Port Albert. She told us of her work as 4 H leader, and some of the different projects taken by the 4 H girls and boys. She had two excellent, displays of projects they had done. She was thanked by Beth Rutledge. The Motto "Go the Second Mile" was read by Beth Rutledge also a poem "The Calendar". Minutes of last meeting were read and financial report given. The roll call was answered by Happiness is - provided some very interesting answers. Area Convention to be held at St. Thomas. Oct. 13 and 14. Delegate and Alternate are Mary Robson and Roberta Linskill. The 37th Women's Institute Rally to be held at Hensall Oct. 3rd. Voting delegates are Roberta Linskill and Bev Fielder. Oct. meeting to be held at Donna Young's 1:30 p.m. Meeting closed with Institute Grace and God Save the Queen. Lunch was served by Roberta Linskill and Bev Fielder.
