Swine club
to form
in Lucknow
All swine producers in the Lucknow area
are invited to attend a meeting to explore
the possibility of forming a swine manage-
ment club. Belonging to a management
club gives the producer the opportunity to
get together with - other producers on a
regular basis in order to, exchange ideas,
help solve problems etc.: in other words,
just to learn from -each other.
There are at the present time four other
swine clubs running in Huron County.
Three of them are independent groups and
one is organized through a local feed sup-
plier. If a group is formed in the Lucknow
area, it will be run as an independent
group with possible sponsorship from the
Huron and Bruce County Pork Producer
Associations through special funding by
the Ontario Pork Industry Improvement
Program (OPIIP).
If this type of experience is of interest to
you, plan to attend this meeting Thursday,
July 28, 8:00 p.m., Lucknow Town Hall
(south side of the main street, downstairs
