LINDE - Otto and Donna Linde, Lucknow,
are pleased to announce the birth of a son,
Ryan James, on June 25, 1988 at the
Wingham and District Hospital. A brother
for Travis, Ryan weighed in at 7 lbs., 9 ozs.
DEBRUYN - John and Maureen,
Lucknow, are happy to announce the safe
arrival of a new son and a brother for
Elyse and Kevin. Brent Michael weighed
in, at 9 lbs., 1 oz. at his birth at the
Wingham and District Hospital on June 23,
1988. Proud granparents are Mr. and Mrs.
John Harris, Lucknow, and Mr. and Mrs.
Herman DeBruyn of Wingham.

thony, born June 22, 1988 at the Wingham
and District Hospital. Weighing in at 7 lbs:,
8 ozs, Trevor is a brother for Troy.
WI`HARTON - James and Adrianna of
Belgrave are happy to announce the bless-
ed arrival of a new son, James Daniel,
born June 26, 1988 at the Wingham and
District Hospital. A wee brother for Angie
and Christine, James weighed in at 7 lbs.,
13 ozs.
Feed sample service
The Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and
Food, through the Summer Experience '88
Program, has hired eight students to sam-
ple feeds on farms this summer.
You may contact Forage Crop Tester,
Taiu Landra at the Walkerton OMAF Of-
fice 881-3301 or 1-800-265-3023. Taiu will
assist farmers in the counties of Bruce and
Grey.
The students will take samples and ex-
plain the procedure to the farmer, fill out
lab submission forms and forward feed
samples to Agri -Food Laboratories in
Guelph.
The farm visit is free of charge.
Farmers enrolled in the Red Meat Plan or
the Ontario Pork Industry ,Improvement
Plan may use their vouchers for two free
analyses; others pay the lab's going rate.
New staffer at Blyth
Joel Harris, General Manager of the
Blyth Festival announced today the ap-
pointment of Jane Gardner as Director of
Communications for the Festival effective
immediately. "We're pleased to have
lured Jane away frotn the Maritimes
where she workd for three years as Direc-
tor of Communications for Theatre New
Brunswick with Janet Amos", said Mr.
Harris. "She's no stranger to the area - she
was the Publicist for Huron Country
Playhouse in 1985 and has also worked for
Marlene Smith and Company's produc-
tions of Cats and Little. Shop of Horrors in
Toronto."
After five years as Publicity Director at
the Blyth Festival, Philippa Borgal has
retired from the theatre world for a short
time as she and husband, Chris are expec-
ting their first child in August. "Philippa's
dedication and outstanding work at the
Festival is immeasurable and we will
greatly miss her", said Katherine Kaszas.
"It's great to be back", said Ms. Gard-
ner, "and I'm looking forward to seeing
the community. With next year being the
Blyth Festival's 15th anniversary and with
the capital fund raising campaign under-
way, we're planning all sorts of things to
celebrate the achievements of the Blyth
Festival and its rich history."
Premieres at the Blyth Festival this
season include The Cookie War by
Kathleen McDonnell and Fires in the Night
by David S. Craig. Both new scripts use
local heroes as their inspiration. Opening
soon are The Mail Order Bride (June 22nd)
by Robert Clinton and Lucien (July 6) by
Marshall Button which stars actor Ron
Gabriel in the starring role of "Archie
Bunker of the Maritimes". Tickets for
June and early July shows are selling
quickly but there are still some good seats
remaining on weekday evenings. For more

DICKSON -JENKINS
Lori Lynn Dickson and David Mark
Jenkins were united in marriage on May 7,
1988 at the Dungannon United Church.
Rev. Robert Roberts officiated.
Lori is the daughter of Tom and Dianne
Dickson of Port Albert while Mark is the
son of Leonard and Elma Jenkins of War-
ren Street in.Goderich.
Matron of Honour was Lisa Geddes,
sister of the bride. I'ridesmaids were Kim
Dickson, sister of the bride; Michele
Dickson, sister of the bride; and Michelle
Andrew, cousin of the bride.
Flowergirl was Wendy Bogie, cousin of
the bride.
Best man was Jim Geddes, friend of the
groom. Ushers were Murray Clark, cousin
of the groom; Scott Jenkins, brother of the
groom; and Philip Dickson, cousin of the
bride.
Soloists were David and Steve Bogie,
cousins of the bride.
Following a reception at the Saltford
Valley Hall, the couple left for a trip to the
Wheels Inn, Chatham.

HACKETT - BEASLEY
Cheryl Hackett and Pat Beasley were
united in matrimony at the bride's home in
Lucknow on June 4, 1988. Rev. McFarlane
officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Allan Hackett, Lucknow, while the
groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Pete
Grazier of RR2 Lucknow.
Bridesmaids for the ceremony were
Mrs. Janice VanDiepenbeek, RR3
Lucknow, and Mrs. Gail McPherson, RR3
Walkerton.
Standing up with the groom were Andy
Grazier, RR2 Lucknow, and Allan Murray,
RR6 Lucknow.
Following the ceremony, family and
friends gathered at the Lucknow Com-
munity Centre to wish the couple well. Mr.
and Mrs. Beasley spent their honeymoon
in Jamacia and will reside at RR2 Dor-
