Parish Explorers held their Mother -
Daughter Banquet on Wednesday, June
8th.
Mrs. Robinson welcomed everyone.
Rev. Robert Roberts said Grace. A lovely
meal was enjoyed. Games were played
with many nice gifts being received.
Explorers introduced themselves and
their mothers. Explorers sang two songs
accompanied by Mrs. Linskill on piano.
Mrs. A. Armstrong drew the lucky ticket
for the lovely quilt that was sewn by Mrs.
Robinson and tied by the explorers. The
lucky winner was Eldon Austin of
Dungannon.
The Explorers who received Red Stars
were Angela Brindley, Debbie Delbergue,
Kim Leishman, Michele McClinchey,
Tammy Pengally, Heather Robinson and
Erin Schultz.
The Explorers who received Blue Stars
were Tenille Cranston. Karen Hodges,
Jocelyn Logtenberg, Patricia Robinson.
The Explorers who finished Explorers
and go onto C.G.I.T. received Gold Star,
Certificate of Graduation and E -Pin were
Amy Jo Glenn, Jenny Sue Brown, Robyn
Dawson, Tammy Roberts and Angela
Woods.
A West Wawanosh Pin was given to any
girl who sang at two outings. Those girls
who received were Tammy Roberts, Amy
Jo Glenn, Tenille Cranston, Karen Hodges,
Jocelyn Logtenberg, Patricia Robinson,
Angela Woods, Angela Brindley, Kim
Leishm: 1, Tammy Pengally and Heather
Robinson.
Explorers with 90% Attendance received
a spoon and included, Heather Robinson;
Michele McClinchey, Angela Brindley,
Kim Leishman, Tammy Pengally,
Patricia Robinson, Jocelyn Logtenberg,
Debbie Delbergue, Tenille Cranston, Erin
Schultz, Tammy Roberts, Angela Woods,
Jenny Sue Brown; Robyn Dawson and
Amy Jo Glenn.
A gift was given to Tammy Roberts for 3
years perfect attendance.
Angela Woods, Jenny Sue Brown and
Amy Jo Glenn had special thank yous.
Donna Young, is retiring from Explorers
and hopes one of the Explorers mothers
will help Mrs. K. Roberts and Mrs. Robin-
son in September.
Mrs. Karen Roberts thanked everyone
for coming.
Dungannon Senior Citizen Card Party on
Wednesday night had 15 tables. High lady,
Lois Haggitt; Low lady, Lee Shetler; High
man, Carman Brindley; Low man, John
Andrew.
Dungannon Senior Citizens are invited to
join with the Dungannon United Church
Women at a Pot Luck Picnic at Don-
nybrook Park on Tuesday, June 21st at
UNGANNON

On Thursday; June 9, Mrs. Enid Maize -
Williams of Waterloo and Mrs. Margaret
Pritchard of Goderich visited with Frank
Pentland.
Visitors with Marjorie and Wilfred
Pentland on Thursday, June 9th were Mrs.
Enid Maize -Williams of Waterloo and Mrs.
Margaret Pritchard of Goderich.
Visiting Anne and Gilbert Millar is her
sister, Maisie and husband Ian Taylor and
daughter Elizabeth from Ayr, Scotland.
Visiting Lee Shetler for a few days was
her daughter Jane from Nanaimo, British
Columbia.
A family gathering was held at Bill and
Marie Stewart's on Sunday, June 12th to
celebrate Bill's mother, Mrs. Greta
Stewart's "96th Birthday". Mrs. Greta
Stewart's daughters, Annetta Rabjohns of
Birhingham, Michigan and Gwen Ceasar
of Dungannon and families attended, Con-
gratulations Mrs. Stewart!
Don Pickard picked up the MVP
award for Midget Boys Basketball at
the F.E. Madill Secondary School
Althetics Banquet held last Monday.

ANNUAL MEETING
Wingham & District Hospital Corporation
Notice is hereby given that the Annual Meeting of the Wingham and
District Hospital Corporation will be held in the Nursing Assistants Train-
ing Centre, Catherine St., Wingham, Ontario on Thursday, June 16th,
1988, at the hour of eight o'clock p.m., for consideration and confir-
mation of revocation of Medical Staff Bylaw 48: for the election of Gover-
nors; for the appointment of Auditors; and for the transaction of such
other business as may properly come before the meeting.
Copies of the proposed Bylaw change, the Annual Report and Hospital
Financial Statements may be obtained at the front desk of the Wingham
and District Hospital prior to three o'clock p.m., Thursday, June 16th,
1988.
Membership granting voting privileges may be purchased at the front
desk of the hospital for one dollar 01.00) prior to five o'clock p.m.,
Wednesday, June 1st, 1988. No membership sold after that time, on
that date, will entitle the purchaser to a vote at this Annual. Meeting.
