The choir catered to a hot turkey dinner for present members of both the W.M.S. and the Evening Auxiliary, their husbands, former members and friends of the organization. In response to the courtesies to the choir by Rhoda MacKen- zie the members sang a song with words by Kay Forster ending up with Happy Bir- thday to the W.M.S. The church auditorium was tastefully decorated with blue and white flowers, candles, and bells, and an anniversary cake which was cut by one of the older members, Ethel Rutherford. Special guests, which took us on a short trip to the Boy Scout Jamboree in Australia via slides and souvenirs, were Chris Colwell and Jonathan Nelson. Rhoda MacKenzie capably conducted the short program which included a thought-provoking meditation on Sowing the Seed by Elleda Laidlaw • prayer by Peggy Henderson and musical numbers by Austin and Mildred Loree. Mrs. Ramsay led in a Memorial Service to honour those of our members that had passed away since our centennial service five years ago.
