Congratulations to Jack and Judy Miller on the birth of their son, Justin William, weighing 5 lbs. 151/2 oz. on May 18, 1988. A little brother for Nathaniel. Proud grand- parents are George and Marg Osmond of Goderich and Eric and Betty Miller of Nile. Sympathy is extended to the families of Betty Jean Bowers who passed away at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital on May 18. Rev. T. McNamara conducted the funeral service at St. Peter's Catholic Church on Friday, May 20th. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Pearson travelled VIA train to Timmins over the long weekend to view their latest grand- daughter, Cassie Chantel, a daughter for Wayne and Heather Pearson. Cassie arriv- ed May 6th weighing 6 lbs. 5 oz. and is a sister for Craig. Nelson and Gloria also visited their son, Scott and Jeanette and family in Guelph. Visitors with Ken and Beth Hodges of Dungannon were Donalda Helesic RR Goderich and her son, Robert, from Kincardine. Ross and Bessie MacDonald of Ottawa visited with his mother Lillian MacDonald over the long weekend, and visited with other friends in the area. Joan Black (Mrs. John Black) graduated Friday, May 20th from Wingham and District Hospital Nursing Assistant Program.. She was Class Valedictorian and also received the Scholastic Achievement Award. Con- gratulations and good luck in the future, Joan. DUNGANNON By Bonnie Hodges Anne B. Boyle of St. Augustine graduated from McMaster University Medical School. She will be commencing a two year Family Medicine Residency pro- gram in St. John's, Newfoundland on June 8, 1988. Anne is the daughter of Cyril and Mary Boyle.
