even some fathers put in a massive amount of time and labour at the paper drive held
over the weekend. Taking a brief, but well deserved break are Danielle Cranston,
Lynda Lyons, Kristen O'Neill, Julie Carter, Crystal Brindley, Denise Black, Alesha
Moffat and Adella Andrew. After the papers are collected, they have to be tied, check-
ed for glossy inserts and loaded into this container to be shipped for recycling. The ef-
forts of those involved nets the group approximately $32 per ton of paper. The girls
gathered about seven tons on Saturday and the funds will go to the expenses of the
various groups involved. (Pat Livingston photo)

UCKNOW
By Mildred Loree
This is the weekend for fishing derbies.
A little fellow who was fishing off the end
of a pier lost his balance while trying to
land a fish and fell in the lake. Several men
who also were fishing nearby rushed to his
aid and pulled him out.
"How did you come to fall in?" one of the
men asked him.
"I didn't come to fall in," the kid said, "I
came to fish."
