Get well wishes to Harvey Thompson who is having surgery this week in Vic- toria Hospital, London. Ken and Brenda Bridge attended the wedding of Brenda's brother, David Pope, in Port Elgin on Saturday. Their son Sandy was the ringbearer, and their daughter Robin was the flower girl. Many relatives attended. The farthest was Brenda's Great, Great Aunt Scamp from Nova Scotia. Aunt Scamp and her daughter Sally and her daughter and also Brenda's Grandmother Violet Paul from Port Elgin visited with Ken and Brenda and family on Sunday. Happy birthday to Christina Farrell who is seven years old this week. She celebrated her birthday on Thursday with 11 of her friends. David and Ellen Keith of Teeswater visited on Sunday with Donald and San- dra Forster and family. The Purple Grove Women's Institute hosted the Lions Club for supper on Wednesday night. Valerie and Dave Gibson, Julie and Dan visited on Saturday with Valerie's parents Donald ,and Alma Gillies. Visitors with Donald and Alma Gillies this week were Florence and Percy Gregg from Kincardine, Sandra Bickford from Lucknow and Evelyn Henderson from Kincardine. Margie and David Lochhead, Shauna, Rachel and Devon visited on Saturday with Katherine Collins. Don and Anne McCosh and Francis and Irene Boyle were Sunday supper guests with Joyce and John Farrell. Joyce and John Farrell spent last week on Manitoulin Island. Don and Anne McCosh, Lester and Audrey Ferguson, Mr. and Mrs. Herb Clark and Douglas visited at Currie Col - well's on Monday. Betty Morrison and boys Kyle and Neil were there for the week from Sudbury. Gladys Arnold spent a few days with Jim and Joyce McEwan in Kincardine. Bible study was at Marion Gamble's last week.
