Sympathy extended to Stanleys
The sympathy of the Purple Grove com-
munity is extended to the Stanley families
on the death of Glen on Saturday.

shrubs around the new Library in Ripley.
Mr. and Mrs. Ike Piel, Mr. and Mrs.
Wilfred Gamble and Marion visited at John
and Barb Gamble's last Sunday afternoon.
Donald and Sandra Forster attended the
Christening of Nicole Bowers on Sunday and
lunch afterwards at Don and Dorinda
Bowers' in Kincardine.
Carmen Farrell attended a birthday party
for Crystal Stanley on Friday this week.
Henry and Jackie Pope visited with Ken
and Brenda Bridge last Monday night to
help celebrate Ken's birthday and Ken and
Brenda's anniversary.
Wayne and Lorraine Kerr visited Mr. and
Mrs. Jack Kerr in Walkerton last Sunday
then to see Mrs. Grace McTeer at Paisley.
Grace is pretty good now.
Susan and Garrett Roberts of Denfield
visited for a couple of days with Jack and
Janet Farrell.
Friends with Marjorie Thompson on
Mother's Day were Rick and Sue Paul and
family, Laurie and Tom Nadolski, and

On Monday night Brenda Bridge attended
a 4-H review meeting at the OMAF office in

On Sunday Roy and Maureen Collins and
family visited with Roy's mom, . Mrs.
Dorothy Collins in Lucknow.
Angela Collis and Kelly McGillivray
played in the Music Festival in Walkerton
last week.
Visiting with Jack and Janet Farrell on
Sunday were Kathy and Jared Martin of Kit-
chener, Rob Farrell of Mount Forest and
Gary and Laura Farrell and family of
Ripley.

will be having it's Grand Opening at the
Teeswater Town Hall at 11:00 a.m. The of-
ficial ribbon cutting will be attended to by
Graeme Cassidy, Reeve of Teeswater;
Roy Pennington, Reeve of Culross
Township and Warden of Bruce County;
Murray Elston, M.P.P. for Bruce County;
and Murray Cardiff, M.P. for Huron -
Bruce. Refreshments will be served after
the ceremony.
The public is invited to attend and find
out all about our beautiful area and the
services that are offered to both residents
and visitors to Teeswater-Culross.

The Purple Grove W.I. members had a
pleasant "night out" on Wednesday even-
ing. They began with bowling at the
Lucknow Bowling lanes. Joyce Farrell's
team was high, and Merle Rhody the high
scorer. Chinese dinner was then enjoyed at
the Lucknow Chinese restaurant. This was
followed by a short business meeting and
program. Conveners of the evening were
Marjorie Thompson and Katherine Collins.
