with Mrs. Agnes Farrier.
Mrs. Appleton, Bob Appleton and friend
Mrs. Pat Dodds and Russell Fear of
Wingham were Sunday guests with Mr.
and Mrs. David Ross.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sinnamon of Mit-
chell, Ken and Glenn Sinnamon of
Wingham were Sunday visitors with Mr.
and Mrs. Ernest Beecroft.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lavis of Lucknow
were Sunday visitors with Mr. and Mrs.
Hugh Simpson and on Wednesday evening
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Struthers of
Lucknow visited at the Simpson home,
Mr. and Mrs. Russell Ross of Wingham
were dinner guests on Sunday with Mr.
and Mrs. Don Ross and Brian.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gutoskie, Michelle
and Michael of Kitchener visited on Sun-
day with her mother Mrs. Norma Rintoul.
Whitechurch Women's Institute
The annual meeting of Whitechurch
Women's Institute was held on April 13
with 10 members present.
President, Mrs. John Currie opened with
a poem followed by the Mary Stewart Col-
lect and the Lord's prayer.
Reports were given by Mrs. Don Ross,
Public Relations officer; Mrs. Dan Tiffin,
Resolutions; Mrs. John Currie, Curator
and Merle Wilson, co-ordinator, giving the
other reports. Mrs. Fred Tiffin reported
for sunshine and cheer with 11 cards sent
oui and shut-in boxes given out in the
community.

committtee: Past President, Mrs. Agnes
Farrier; President, Mrs. John Currie;
First Vice Mrs. Dan Tiffin; Secretary

Directors' meeting in March. Rollcall was
payment of fees.
Ball registration
Ripley -Huron Recreation will be holding
ball registration Tuesday, April 19 - 6 9
p.m., Thursday, April 21 - 6 - 9 p.m. and
Saturday, April 23 - 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the
Ripley Arena •
If enough interest is shown there may be a
baseball (hardball) program as well as the
usual softball teams.
To make this season a success, coaches
and more players are needed.

Marcia and Huntley Dawson attended
the funeral of Marcia's brother, Clarence
Munro, at Lambeth last week. He is sur-
vived by -one son, one daughter and three
grandchildren.
Blanche and Jack Needham are back
home again after spending the winter mon-
ths in Florida. Glad to see you back. Also,
Robin and Dan Logan are back home after
spending the winter in Te -as.
A social evening was held on Friday
evening at the Karishea Hall to welcome
the new neighbours to the Fourth Conces-
sion. Those being: Mr. and Mrs. Don Af-
fleck, and Barb and Larry Harper, John,
Kim and Chris.
Cathy and Trina Howald are enjoying a
visit in Clearwater, Florida with Cathy's
parents.
