Just What We Need one more February Day by Rob Crich If I could change the extra day in February to any place in the year, I would change it to the last day of August because that would make it one extra day of sum- mer holidays. I think you would have to agree with me that everyone would like that because our friends and neighbours like to see us and so do grandparents. We would be able to do anything that day because it would be so sunny and warm and most of all a 'free day'. Nathan's Goats Nathan had a little kid, His Mom brought it to school. She had hair as long as hair could be. She lived in a palace, as her father was the King of the land. Alana knew a prince that she loved very dearly. He lived across the river. Alana often wanted to see the prince but her father, the King, wouldn't let her out of the palace unless it was with him, She spent her time painting and became a wonderful artist. She was very upset one day and thought how she would ever get to see her true love. Everytime Alana thought about this she wept and wept. She couldn't just sneak away because the guards would see her and tell the King. She thought it over for a long time and then remembered the fairydust wa ' given. The princess decided to try . to make a trail from her window o, .o his. When she tried this she was still crying and found that it worked because her tears and her dust mixed together made the trail. But there was one problem, it was clear and she couldn't see it very well, so she got out her paints and painted it, all different colours; red, orange, yellow, blue, green, indigo and violet, all in order. This made it so she could see it and Alana found when she tryed it that she could walk on it. So everytirne she wanted to see the prince she just made a tear -bow otherwise known as A Rainbow. And the princess's pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, was the prince. The End.
