Finding
shelter
The second meeting of the Trinity 4-H
Club was held on April 1 at the home of
Joan Helm.
The roll call was answered by ail and
home activities were then taken • up.
Weather predictions were made and the
group learned how to accurately read
cloud ' formations. They also discussed
making a shelter in the woods.
Next on the agenda was instruction in
how to make a camp and how to store and
cook food in the great outdoors. Moving
outside, the group played a cloud gaups
before retiring to the woods to build a
campfire and pick out a good spot for a
camp site.
All had good luck in getting their fires
started with the first match. They cooked
apples and "marshmellows which all
agreed were delicious.
As this was an excellent way to edn the
meeting, that is exactly what they did.
The next meeting of this group will be
held at the home of Suzanne Andrew.
