Our Easter holiday weather was ideal, let
us hope it governs the rest of Spring and
Summer. Thursday evening the 441 girls
held their achievement night in Armow W.I.
Hall Purple Grove leaders were Mrs.
Shirley MacDonald and Mrs. Heather Fin-
nie. Four girls completed their skirts. They
are Donna Johnston, Sheena MacDonald,
Peggy Stewart and Jessica Van Poogen also
Stephenie MacDonald and Theresa Farrell
did their skirt as novice members. Sheena
and Peggy have received a 441 Pin - for
finishing six clubs, congratulations girls.
Mrs. Betti MacLeod entertained Noel
Dianne and Robert MacLeod from Toronto,
Blake, Sandy and Charles Millar also from
Toronto way at her home for the Easter
holiday.
Rev. Glen and Mrs. MacPherson enter-
tained Donald and Alana Gillies to dinner
Saturday evening.
Deanne Jones, Don and Anne McCosh and
Richard visited with John and Joyce Farrell
for Easter dinner. Aurel and Marj Arm-
strong visited Don and Anne recently June
Elliott, Joyce Farrell and girls also Joy
Ellen Greenwood were with McCosh's Good
Friday. The Bible Study group met at Mc -
Cosh's home last Tuesday with a good atten-
dance. Bette, Dianne and Robert MacLeod,
Connie Vander Hoek also Dave and Freda
and Laurie Owens of London spent Saturday
with John and Michael Blacket and family
at Glencoe, Sympathy is extended to the
Blacket family from us all in their recent
bereavement.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Forster, Donna, Marie
and Douglas celebrated Mother's birthday
with dinner out on Sunday. Marj Thompson,
Harold and Violet Elliott, Allan and Marie
and John D. Colling visited with Bert
Thompson recently.

The 77th Annual Meeting of Family and
Children's Services of Huron County (The
Children's Aid Society of Huron County) will be
held on Wednesday, April 20, 1988 at 7:30
p.m. at Goderich Lawn Bowling Club, 1 10 Pic -
ton Street West, Goderich, Ontario.
A business meeting will be held to review the
Agency's operations for 1987, and for the elec-
tion of officers. Also, amendments to the
Agency's By -Laws will be presented for ap-

The Huron County Community Child Abuse
Team will present information on the tn-
itiatives token to prevent and treat child
obuse in Huron County.

Forest for their Easter holiday break.
Janet Farrell, Sandra Forester, Marilyn
Reid, and Kathrine Collins attended a
workshop meeting in Walkerton this past
Tuesday. A report will be given this coming
Wednesday at their annual meeting in Pur-
ple Grove Centre.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Brook visited Myra
Norman Sunday p.m. in Kincardine
Hospital and were pleased to see her feeling
better.
Wilfred and Dianne Gamble were among
the fans that followed the Juvenile hockey
boys to Ennismore and cheered them to win
one game out of two. They also spent Easter
Sunday at Bev and Marion Cliffes, Emmer-
ton Beach. John, Barb, Michael and Paul
and Grandma Marion spent Easter Sunday
with Allan, Alice, David, Glenda and Lisa
Gamble. Sandra, Ed Husk and Michael,
Brian and Jo Reid, Don; Marilyn and Larry
Reid, Mrs. Josephine McTavish spent
Easter Sunday with Harold and Doug Gaunt
and family.
Our bowling season is drawing close to its
finish. We hope to be able to attend another
winter at this sport which we are showing
good improvements.
