minutes of play.
Lucknow rallied when Marvin Kikkert
was able to take a pass from Tommy
Chiltonm" and bulge the mesh behind
Wingham goalie Johnston. This got the
boys going and the tying goal came when
Scott Nicholson connected on a pass from
Tom Hogan.
Into the third period, Hogan struck again
after taking a Lydon Johnston pass to
make it 3 - 2. The boys were able to hang
onto this lead and thus ended the game.
Come game two, it was Walkerton com-
ing out hitting hard but Lucknow showed
they weren't to be pushed around.
While Walkerton was short handed,
Hogan took advantage of a pass from Colin
Humphrey and Marvin Kikkert to give his
team a one goal lead early in the contest.
The second period was all Lucknow with
Paul Kikkert scoring from Lyndon
Johnston and Tom Chilton, and Mark Bak-
ker netting one unassisted to give Lucknow
a 3 - 0 win.
This win moved the team into the cham-
pionship round of play against Durham. •
It was a keen team that arrived in
Walkerton on Sunday for the final game

the opening faceoff it was end to end
rushes for both clubs and when two periods
of play had finished, the scoreboard show-
ed a scoreless tie. '
At 7:25 of the third period, Captain Dan-
ny Kerr took a pass from linemates Steve
Adams and Tom Hogan to beat the
Durham goalie. Lucknow was then able to
hang on to the single goal lead to win the
championship game.
Once again, Keith Todd played brilliant-
ly in the nets for Lucknow. The team show -
'ed solid` defense and good puck control to
capture the title.
The entire team received personal
medallions and a souvenir puck along with
