The' weatherman finally cooperated with a good blanket of snow after two postponements. The attendance was down due to three other rallies in the area. Top hand was held by Don Lamb of Goderich with four aces and King high. He won $40.00. Other winners were Frank Slater,. Auburn, $30.00; Shawn Coiling, Ripley, $20.00; Melissa Hanna, Auburn, $10.00 and Vickie Hanna, Auburn $5.00. A total of 177 door prizes were given out by the • following donors: C.A. The Lucknow Presbyterian Evening Auxiliary held their February meeting in the church basement on Tuesday, February 16. There were 15 ladies present at the meeting. Miss Maudie Fisher chaired the meeting which opened with hymn. The Devotions entitled "Peace" and readings from the Scriptures were given by Mrs. Leonard MacDonald. The W.M.S. Purpose was repeated in unison by all attending. The topic on Russia was given by Mrs. Lorie with assistance from Mrs. Henderson. In keeping with the Valentines theme of the meeting, Mrs. Frank Hawthorne gave several readings on Love. The meeting closed with hymn, followed by the Benediction. A social tim0 followed along with a delicious lunch provided by the ladies in charge.
