By Jason Stanley
and Justin Murray
Kindergarten
February is such a happy month for the
'children in Kindergarten. We made Valen-
tines to decorate our windows at home and
had a Valentines Party on Friday. We had
delicious heart cupcakes and Love Potion
to drink. We delivered our Valentines to all
our friends. We have also enjoyed all the
snow in Feb. and sliding down the hill in
our snowsuits is our favourite activities.
Grade 1
Grade one is working on our farm unit
this month, collecting and classifying pic-
tures, listing words in categories, and
making 'farm' stories.
Our centres begin next week, all about
farming. We enjoyed the speeches on
Thursday - they were all interesting.
On Friday we shared our valentines with
our friends and had Olympic snow games
outside with grade 1/2 & 2/3. We enjoyed
healthy snacks of celery, apples & carrots.
A big thank you to the Moms who helped
out.

classmate to our Grade two class. Our new
friend is Shane Kuell and he comes to us
from Kitchener. We finished our "Snow &
Ice" unit by talking about the groundhog
and also completed groundhog centres in
Language Arts. This week we begin our •
study of "China". After an introduction to
China, we are now working on our China
centres.
