Positive aspects of aging As we know there are a large number of budding writers in our area, here is a little competition some of you may be interested in. The Canadian Institute of Religion and Gerontology, located in Toronto, is spon- soring a nationwide competition among Canadians sixty -years -of -age and over. The Institute is inviting seniors to write, in two thousand words or less, their views on 'the positive aspects of aging'. Entries may ne in the form of stories, essays of poems. The best three written submissions will receive superb gifts for their efforts. The best fiftenn submission received by the Institute will be published as an anthology. All entries will be judged by a panel of respected Canadian writers. If you are interested in telling your story, send it to the Canadian Institute of Religion and Gerontology, 40 St. Clair Ave. East, Suite 203, Toronto, M4T 1M9. Be sure to include your full name and address along with the word `competition' clearly marked on the envelope. The deadline for entries in this competi- tion is May 10 of this year.
