RITCHIE - Aaron and Amber Ritchie are
happy to announce the arrival of their
baby brother, Anson Grant Murray, on
December 16, 1987. Anson arrived at 2:29
a.m., weighing in at 8 lbs. 8 oz: Happy
parents are Jim and Annette Ritchie. A
new grandson for Grant and Sandra Cur-
ran and Eldon and Madeline Ritchie.
Another great grandson for Ella Bogie and
Ray and Lenore Cooke. Great, great
grandson for Helene Cooke.
HAMILTON - Karen and Steve are proud
to announce the safe arrival of their
daughter at Mizeracordia Hospital, Ed-
monton, on December 15, 1987, weighing 8
lbs. 4 oz. Besides her parents, Little Sarah
Bonnie MacLeod, daughter of Donald and
Marjorie MacLeod, R. 1, Lucknow,
graduated from the Diploma Nursing Pro-
gram, Fanshawe College, London. Bonnie.
has received her "registration and is
employed at Victoria Hospital,
Westminster Campus, London, Ontario.

MACINNES - Diane and Hughie are thrill=
ed to announce their perfect gift, the birth
of their daughter Jessica Nicole on
Christmas Day, 1987 at 1:30 a.m. in Ed-
monton. Jessica weighed in at 6lbs, 9oz and
is a sister for Ryan. Delighted with the'
news of their latest grandchild are Freda
and Leonard Maclnnes, Lucknow and
W.R. Benton of Edmonton.
MACKENZIE - Kevin and Kelly MacKen-
zie of Toronto wish to announce the safe ar-
rival of their new baby boy born in St.
Joseph's Hospital, Toronto on December
21, 1987. Proud grandparents are Ross and
Jean MacKenzie, Goderich and Steve and
Dianne Berneth, Cavan, Ontario. The new
baby is a great grandson for Rhoda
MacKenzie of Lucknow.
SIMPSON - Alex and Cindy Simpson, RR3
Lucknow, are happy to announce the birth
of a daughter, Alison Janet, on December
22, 1987. Alison weighed albs, 13ozs at birth
and is a new sister for Corey and Maggie.
VAN. OSCH - Brian and Helen (nee Kemp-
ton), are pleased to announce the safe ar-
rival of their first child, a girl, Jenna
Elizabeth, weighing 7lbs, 11 oz. Jenna is
the first grandchild for Peter and Betty
VanOsch and the eighth grandchild for Bill
and Janet Kempton. Jenna is also a great
grandchild for Noma Campbell.
Leonard Carl Goodhue
Leonard Carl Goodhue of 745 Havelock
Street, Lucknow, died on December 30,
1987, in the Kincardine and District
Hospital.
A retired farmer, Mr. Goodhue was a
member of the Lucknow United Church.
Born May 16, 1912 in Frelighsb'Arg,
Missisquoi, Quebec, he was a son of the
late Frederick Goodhue and Pearl
Longley.
Mr. Goodhue is survived by his wife,
Lois Goodhue, whom he married on Oc-
tober 3, 1933 in Richford, Vermont.
He is also survived by two sons, Keith
and Helen Goodhue of Ottawa and Richard
and Vera Goodhue of Melbourne, Quebec;
grandchildren Bruce, Kevin and Debra of
Ottawa and Christine, Kathy and Mark of
RR1 Ripley; three great grandchildren,
Katherine, Melissa and Jessica of Ottawa.
A sister, Beula Hockhoussen 'of
Cowansville, Quebec, also survives.
Mr. Leonard Carl Goodhue was
predeceased by one son, Kermit Goodhue.
MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral
Home, Lucknow was in charge of the
funeral arrangements. A memorial Ser-
vice was conducted by Rev. G. McFarlane
at the funeral home on January 2, 1988.
Cremation at Mount Pleasant Cemetery,
London with interment of ashes in Abbots
Corner Cemetery, Quebec.
Harvey John Finnigan
Harvey John Finnigan died Saturday,
December 13, 1987, in Clearwater, Florida,
at the age of 81 Years.
He is survived by his wife Elsie
(Kruger) Finnigan; one step -son, Jerry
Shields, of Trenton, Michigan; three
sisters, Mrs. Hazel Habel and Mrs. Erma
Anderson, both of Goderich, and Mrs.
Alvin (Cora) Sherwood of Dungannon; a
sister-in-law Mrs. Georgia Finnigan,
Mississauga and a number of nieces and
St. Helen's Shoot Party
Nine tables of sh000t players enjoyed the
Christmas Party at the St. Helen's W.I.
Hall prior to Christmas.
Winners were Elaine. Errington, high
lady; Catherine Taylor; second high lady;
Ross Errington, high man; Clarence Han-
na, second high man.
Lila Rintoul had thelucky cup and
,Shirley Hunter won the draw for the most
shoots. Six players' tied for this .prize with
two shoots each. All are looking foward to
the next party January 11. ,

Everett Finnigan.
The funeral service was conducted at the
Neely Funeral Home, Livonia, Michigan.
Burial was in Parkview Cemetery,
Livonia, Michigan.
Fanny Edith (Turner) McFarlane
Fanny McFarlane of Lucknow, died
December 22, 1987 in Wingham and
District Hospital, at the age of 78.E
Born on March 10, 1909 in West
Wawanosh Township, she was a daughter
of the late John Turnbull and Ellen Wall.
Mrs. McFarlane is survived by 11
children; Doris, Mrs. Keith MacKay, Kin-
cardine; Gertrude, Mrs. Fraser Brown,
Tiverton; Ruby, Mrs. Cliff Eady, Walton;
Cecil Stanley, Canal Flats, British Colum-
bia; r Rennie Stanley, Red Bridge; Cliff
Stanley, Owen Sound; Gordon Stanley,
Alder Grove, British Columbia; Murray
Stanley, Courtland, British Columbia;
Elmer Stanley, Elmwood; Everett
Stanley, London and Ken Stanley, RR 2
Ripley.
Also surviving are two sisters, Ruby,
Mrs. Reg Lavis, London and Mrs. Etta
Jackson, Elmira and one brother, Will
Turner, Kitchener; as well as several
grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mrs. McFarlane was predeceased by
three husbands, James Stanley, Ezra
Sitler and Spence McFarlane; one brother
Albert and three grandchildren.
MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral
Home, Lucknow was in charge of the
funeral arrangements. Services were con-
ducted by Rev. Hardy Kubassek from the
funeral home on Thursday, December 24.
Spring interment Greenhill Cemetery,
Lucknow.
