Moffat completed his hat trick, assisted
by Stuart Rintoul, to make the score 4.11

Colin • Becker netted an unassisted goal
early in the third period and then it was
Ian Paolin's turn. Paolin scored the next
three goals with two assists to Moffat. The
final score was Lucknow 8, Wingham 1.

were relieved to hear that Glen Fergunn's
Atoms bow
Or Monday, December 21, Lucknow
Atom A's travelled to Belmore for a good
game of hockey. The first period was kept
close with Belmore scoring the only goal.
The second period saw Lucknow on the
score board with a goal tapped in by Eric
Andrew, assisted by Shawn Bellmore.
However, Belmore placed two more goals
in the Lucknow net to finish the period 3 -1.

The Lucknow Novice team closed out the
1987 year unbeaten in regular season play
with one Loss in exhibition play against
Brussels.
The Novices will take to the ice next on
January 8 in Harriston.

The third period followed the same pat-
tern, with two more goals for Belmore and
David Adams ending the period on an ex-
cellent rush scoring on a pass from Blair
Bieman.
The Lucknow goaltender, Jamie Snow,
did a great job in keeping the score to
Belmore 5 Lucknow 2, especially on two
break -away attempts.

New treasurer for Sports Complex
Christmas visitors with Ida Howald was
Emerson Howald of. Edmonton, Alberta,
Joe Howald of Vancouver, B.C., Ila and
Rick from Calgary, Alberta, Rosella from
Winnipeg, Manitoba. Emerson remained
home until the 14th of January. Also
visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Howald
was Emerson and Ida during the
Christmas holiday. Ida and Emerson spent
New Yeal„'s with Mr. and Mrs. Claude
Guay.
Visiting at the home of Ross and Helen
Forster on Christmas Day was Kathleen
and Ron Foster, and Fay Ann, Marie and
Tami Forster of London, Donna and Garry
Sutton and family, Nancy and Gerald Mur-
ray and family,.
Donna and Garry Sutton and family
visited • with Garry's parents Lyman and
Pearl Sutton on Saturday after Christmas.
They also spent Sunday with Wilnia and
Cecilia Sutton where Wilma held
Christmas dinner. Donna Sutton held her
New Year's dinner on Sunday for the
Forster family, also joining the family was
Lyman and Pearl Sutton of Teeswater.

Christopher, Brenda and Claire Steffler,
Pat and Ernie Good and girls, and Tony,
Mike and Geraldine Schlossen spent
Christmas Day with Myra Walden of

Gloria and Bob Symes and family spent
the long weekend visiting with Bob's
mother and other relatives in
Campbellford.
Jay Houston, Cleveland Ohio and
daughter Lynne, Dalhousie University,
Halifax visited over the Christmas vaca-
tion with -Mrs. Elsie Houston. On Sunday
Dec. 27th they visited with Ken and Joy
Houston and daughters, Pike Lake Road,
Harriston.
Wallace and Kerry Houston and family,
of Aylmer were also guests at a riston
and are visiting in the Ripley a Lucknow
area.
Mrs. Gordon Guballa of Chiiliwack B.C.,
passed away on December 19. Ruby was
the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.
Albert McQuoid of Ashfield Township.
Rod McDonagh is now the treasurer of
the Lucknow District Sports Complex
Fund Raising Committee. This position
was held by Ken Hamilton, for which the
committee is grateful for his efforts.
