Christmas
by Nicole Lootsmio.
Grade 4, LDCS
On Christmas day a prince
was born.
But he didn't have . crown
not even a blast of a horn.
Ie was born -in a stable
with donkeys and cows.
With horses, sheep and
mother pigs calledsows.
His naive was Jesus Son
on Most High..
Mary told the baby not to
cry.
Jesus is now up in heaven
above.
He and the Lord watch us.
with tender care and love.
That's what Christmas is
all about,
So sing, praise, and give a
loud shout!

Memories of a tradition
by Ashley Husk I,CI'S
As I watch yet again
"The Grinch Who Stole
Christmas" many memo-
ries come to mind.
Going to a Christmas
parade and afterward wait
ing in the never'ending
line to see .Santa.
My sisters.brother, -
dad, and I going into town
to find .room the perfect
present. But dad is so busy
trying to keep track Of us.
that at the end of the day
we still don't have a gift to
give mo‘n.
I remember getting my
sister just what she had
wanted, but when she
guessed • what it was
instead of pretending she
was wring, I.burst into
tears admitting that she
was right.
Decorating the
Christmas tree is always
fun. My mom and dad
would lift us up so that we
could reach the tallest
branches. At the end the
,angel was set upon the
top. Once the tree was
finally decorated we could;
set,Our gifts under the tree.
But one of the best
parts of Christman is
Christmas morning -when
every person in your fami-
ly takes turns .opening the
presents that others
thoughtfully picked out
just for you.
I hope you .have
enjoyed some of my
Christmas memories and I
hope you have many of
your own.
