Grade 4, Brookside
When 1 was little every
year me and my whole
family goes to my grand-
pas house. We always get
good presents. One year
for a present I got a
remote control race ear
which drove everyone
crazy.
Grandpa's cat Sam
jumped op the .table and
spilled everything, It was
one mess. Everyone got
mad at the cat.
Next year 1 continued
driving my car and the cat
ran up the Christmas tree
and it fell down. Then my
grandpa made me put the
car away.

a dog. We still have the
dog. His name is Harly.
One Christmaswe left him
in, We left him by the
Christmas tree and we

shut the door. We did not
know that he was in there
and everybody went to
bed and in the morning we
woke up and we saw him
chewing on some presents.

When I was little t
waited for Santa. My mom
would say time for bed. So
1 went to the kitchen and
got sortie carrot~, cookies
and milk, The carrots were
for Rudolph aria other
reindeer. The cookies and
milk were for Santa.
Then I got ready for
bed and my parents tucked
me in,, When they went to
bed 'I fell -asleep. 1 woke
up at night and went
downstairs..and found toys
and candy in' my stocking
plus a big present. 1 ran.

upstairs, and got my sister.
We went downstairs and
waited till 7' a.m. and got
mom and dad up. They
always said, "Go Back To
Bed!"

in my stocking and. what a
sight. I saw a yellow and
blue flashlight. .

mother would say, Hang
your stocking on the wall.'
Don't touch those' presents
they may -break, your dad's
asleep, your mother's tired,
you sleepy head full of
joy.
You're all asleep. when
'Santa -Claus comes.
He knows just what you
want! So just' be good a
little bit longer!

to wait for everyone to.
wake up, I didn't like that
at all. When they got up,
we had to eat our break-
fast. After breakfast it was

until grandma called. and
she said she was coming:
over with ,grandpa. When
they got there I opened my
presents: When allthe pre-
sents were opened my
uncle came over to play
with our toys. So my uncle
and l: played withthe toys
we got for Christmas. We
played for all hour. It was
