Entrants are not required: to be residents of the County of Orme.' Judging. will be based on originality, 'creativity, documentation, research and presentation. A range of 2,000 to 5,000 words for the essays is suggest- ed, with a maximum; of 10,000, 'Here • are a few sugges- tions for topics, but the .conunittee wishes to stress that these are offered only to help convey theegeneral idea of the competition: *Persons who have advanced settlement and fife in; Bruce County, or persons from Bruce County who have con- tributed to. society in other parts of the world, . *Events and their effect on people in Bruce County. *Establishment of indus- tries, ndus-tries, institutions; organi- zations.
