Mr. Alton was a farmer until retirement. He was a life tong member of. the Dungannon United Church. Born on. Aug. 12, 1907, in'. West Wawanosh Township, Mr. Alton was a sun of the late Samuel Herbert and Catherine E. (Slake) Alton: He is survived by his chil- dren Ronald and wife Edna Alton of RR 2, Lucknow, Lome and wife Susan Acton of RR 2 Auburn, and Eleanor and husband Paul Henderson of Mississauga.
