Acres ori Friday for a tour of the apple orchard pro- vided hy Gail and Roger Farrell, The members learned about the growing, harvesting and marketing of apples. The leaders of this club also completed the final garden tour for some members en Sunday afternoon. Bette McLeod, Doris Rock, Olwen MacAuley and Edna Stanley enjoyed the play "Thirteen Hands" at Blyth on Thursday and on the return home stepped for supper to cele- brate Olwen's birthday. Visitors with Jim and Fran Farrell this week. were Gary Moulton and 'Jenny Farrell of Wingham. Jenny also visited with Earl and June Elliott this week. On their return Friday, they visited with Roy and Rita Webster of Landon: Saturday evening Mary Anne and Ann .attended the surprise 25th anniver- sary celebration for Bonnie and Paul Mercer of Kineardine. Mary. Ann Elliott and Melissa and Josh of Alberta are visiting with relatives in the area, Edna Stanley breakfast- ed with Bob and Helen Farrefl at'Aintree Trailer Park Sunday morning. Congratulations te Chris Farrell and Julie Hicks who were married at the Kincardine United Church on Saturday. Reception was at, the Kincardine Legion. Phyllis Thompson and Peter of Clinton visited with Wilda and Harvey Thompson Sunday after- noon. Fortychildren partici- pated in the Vacation Bible School at St. Andrew's United Church last 'week. Congratulations to the leaders and volun- teers who provided an excellent program. Theme of this year program was God's Children Pray. 1-1.0.P.E, World Tour. The children participated. in morning -service on Sunday. Kay Collins and Sandra McGillivray have returned from taking Kristy McGillivray back to Jackson, Mississippi, where she is' attending her second year at Bellhaven College. On the way home they holidayed at Nashville and lvlemphis, Tennessee.
