Lancers on winning the North J 'atron
Atom soccer championship on July 25.
The Lancers first played the Wingham
Blizzards on July 21. The score was tied
at one for most oI the game Untila late
goal: put Wingbaju .ahead 2 to 1.
Lucknow'sonly goalwas from Cory
Hamilton.
Game two was played on July 24
against Qoderich Suncoast. l,uckncsw's
fullbacks cleared the ball well in their
end as the halfbacks fed the forwards to
score four goals; three from Cory
Hamilton and one front: Cody Hamilton.
Final score Lucknow 4 to Oodexichs 2.
Lucknow now advanced on to play on
Saturday.
Gama.e three was played at 10:30 a.m.
against Wingham Greet Hornets.
Wingham scored first forciing the
Lancers to 44 a little deeper. They
increased the pressure on Wingham and
scored three goats. Goals. from Cody,
Cory and Darius Mali.
Game four was played at 1 p..m, as
they faced the Clinton Electrodes. The
Lancers demonstrated great teat work
taking an early lead in the gamee.. Clinton
was defeated 4 to 2. •Cory and Cody each
scored two goals.
The septi -final guile 'was at 3
against Goderich.Legion. The fullbacks
and goalie did a great ,job keeping

NTN Bearings brought this Formula Atlantic race car to Lucknow last
week as part ot its promotional tour of the 14 -race Atlantic series. this
car, 'until two years ago, raced; now it is strictly for show. This car
reached a top speed of 165 mph when on the track, it is built by Swift
Race Cars,, of California and teas fuel weighs 1,020 lbs. The engine: Is a

Ltd., one"ofits buyers, for a noon hour show on Friday. The twosome
