enough:, reason for Ian:
Montgomery to want to do
something that would
mark the occasion. Add to
that the fact that the vil-

In December 1985, the
business had expanded to
a point where it needed
more space.. Montgomery.
Motors moved into new,
quarters at the present`
location. This also allowed,•'
them to house both the ear
dealership: and the busing
business in one building, -
Today as the business
celebrates its 50th anniver-

directs the operations of
Montgomery Motors and

The past 50: ,years have
been good • for
Montgomery's, and in turn
the business has .been.
good for the community.
Ian says their business
philosophy follows that of
Henry Ford: "It is not the
employer whopays the
wages - he .only handles
the money. It is the cus-
tomer who pays the
wages."
