Margaret was born near
St. Helens on May 7, 1913,
the eldest of four daughters
•,of Rosemary and Edward
Thom. After her marriage
to Campbell Thompson;
she has. resided continu-
ously in the village of.
Lucknow. Mr: Thompson's
death occurred in 1964,
She is a graduate nurse
from, Guelph General.

ing her husband in the pub-
lishing of The Lucknow
Sentinel. •
Margaret 'has a family
of .two daughters and, a .
son; Joanne McFarlane of.
Brampton,. Patricia Hunter
of Wingham and Donald
Thompson of Lucknow;
also six granddaughters,
one grandson, two great
granddaughters and . one
great grandson.

Birthday celebrants at Pinecrest Manor
and their friends were entertained in April
by Herb Clark and sons. it was an enjoy-
able afternoon for John Spivak, Harold
Keating, George Sach, Jennie Porteous
and Violet Thompson.
Other special .events in April .included
the seniors meal at the Legionwith enter-
tainment, Geri Fashions, a fiddle and step
show in Wingharii, the. Delmore Maple
Syrup Festival, and the children's music
recital
A volunteer lutcheon` and fashion
show, was eitjoyed by the 'residents and
visitors,. 'as was the Victorian Ten which
was a huge success in honor of Pinecrest's•
"priceless" volunteers. '
The play, Where's Grafdxna?' was whit
with the residents attending.'
A warm welcome is extended to, new
residents, Dave Martyrs , and Gordon
Wilson.
