United Church Women
met in the common room
at the River View
Apartments, on Feb. 3,
with IS present.•The
theme of th:e�rneeting was
love, with :Elsie Houston
and 'Ruth. Pritchard in
charge of the program.
Elsie opened with a
poem "The road to 4ove.".
She read Psalm. 130. and
-Rush Pritehard read the
meditation '"aur Song of
Hope," followed with
prayer.
•.Elsie was the pianist for
the hymns.
Lois Goodhue read: a
letter to Ann Landers
telling us how we should
not worry; nor fret, nor
cross bridges before we
come to them. Edna Alton
read the poem; "DQ come
in.".
We answered the roll
call- with a verse on love,
or ,kindness and a card,
stamps or money for the
Community Friendship
committee., We each told
what we did to help Us '•
with the winter blahs!
Elsie read: "Choir:.
Practice. and sang the
closing hymn. '

Agriculture and Agri -Food Canada launched the
Business Planning for Agri -Ventures (BPAV) Program to
assist farmers interested in starting new: ventures. The
