The Silver Lake
Women's Institute met
Wednesday evening at the
Community Centre at
Kinloss for their regular
meeting. The members
and their guests from the
community. painted
Christmas snowmen and
decorated them for hang-
ing. During the business
session, thank yous were
read from the District
Women's Institute for
hosting the card party in
October. Gloria Bullock
reported on the
Convention and Rally. _ A
discussion centered
around the central meeting
place: for the new, District.
Our group thinks Paisley,
is more central than Tara.
The members voted to
send money for the
Kinloss History ,,Book.'
Joyce Bragg read two
Remembrance Day poems
and the meeting closed
with the hostess Gloria
Bullock and her helpers
serving lunch.

chaired by Linda Thacker,
Laura and her attendants,
Lea Anne Hodgins and
Tracey Henderson, opened
arranged the bows to make
an attractive hat for the
bride.. Laura thanked
everyone responsible for
the party and gifts and
lunch was served.

hosted, many activities last week

Citizens Centre has been a
bee hive of activity this
past week. Wednesday
night, euchre card party
hosted seven tables with
Harvey Culbert, Irma
Crich, Evelyn Christensen,
and Helen Russell
declared' . winners.
Thursday morning play
school under the direction
of Donna Curran with an
attendance of ' 17,
Thursday evening, in the
lounge, neighbors and
friends bid farewell to Bob
and Doreen McCormick at
a social gathering. Bob
and Doreen have taken up
apartment residence in
Goderich, and a welcome
was given to Rose Reber
who has purchased the
McCormick home in
Dungannon.

Dungannon on Friday with her parents
