all about? I asked myself this
question over and over again.
I.couldn't answer it. 1 watched
movies« read some hoops and articles
about. World War' 11.•1 still didn't
understand what Rernetmbrance Day
was all about. Was it about people
dying; for freedom? Do we wear the
poppy to show that we reanember
them? That seemed like what
'Remembrance Day was all about but
I still wasn't too sure. I asked my
neighbour to take me to Sunnyhrook
Hospital to visit the veteran's area.
We were scheduled to visit. Mr.
Arthur Pluirrih. ;I was so nervous but ,
1 went into his room anyway:. There
was a man :sitting on a wheel chair
who had lost his leg. 1 siniled at Bila.

He invited me to sit down. He talked
about himself and the war. He told
