in skating club
Registration for the Lucknow Skating Club was held
Sept, 12 and 13, with 87 skaters signing up.
'Junior coaches age 11 and up can receive training at
the Canskate coaches clinic Oct. 19 in Gocierich. Also, a
skater. development clinic is being planned for
November in Lticknow. • , • ,
The new skating season will begin in L,ucknow. on
Oct. 15. Being introduced this year are a Learn to Skate
,program for wee skaters Saturday mornings, and a new
system for senior'arid intermediate skaters, where the.
ice costs are paid at registration, and the Skaters arrange
. private lessons with a professional coach. Professional
dance partners for skaters osin the senior bronze dances
and higher will be in town twice'a month for Practice, as
well i partnering on test days. , • •.• : . "
