Pork producers, processors and food
banks in Huron County will co-operate m
the fight against hunger, through. the
establishment of "Huron Pork Hunger
Alliance". .• • ,
This initiative' means that meat, often a
rare donation at the food banks,' can be
made available. . • •
••• Huron pork producers can send pigs,
' of any 'size, to any of the Ieprocessors in
Huron County to be processed as a
"Huron Pork Hunger Alliance" pig. Once
processed the meat will be picked up. by
- the local food bank .
Any producer donating a, pig will be
issued a tax receipt for charitable dona-
tion. Processors can donate the process-
ing and also receive a tax receipt. ,.'

(Goderich). .
