Grades. Kindergarten to
Grade 2 have told me •a lot
about their trip. Ai their
• first stop, ,the, Larnbton
County. Museum,. they . saw
a lot of pioneer artifacts.:

their, favorite things .were
the live lobsters • even ;.it
they couldn't hold thein,
and the snacks.. they got.
At the ,Burgsma.'s •Zoo,
they saw a lot of different
animals and they even got
togo insidesome of the
cages!
Grade 7. and 8 .hada
very good time in Ottawa ,

Our firsstop was Old
Fort Henry in. Kingston
and 1 recommend . anyone
to go: there. Wealso went
to the parliament building,
the. Governor -General's
house, the : Aviation
Museum, the Supreme
Court; ,the: Cineplus, and
many more museums.. We
really' enjoyed ourselves
there,;
The Grade 5 and 6 also
had fun seeing different
animals and reptiles at the
Metro. Zoo in Toronto.
Their only complaint: was
allthe walking: They •said
it was tiring.
The 'Grades .3 and 4
also had fun'on their trip
to the Agricultural
Museum lin,Milton. They
saw"different-farm dis=
playsWand shops, such as.
the blacksmiths. They also
saw pregnant -cow -and
many other animals;

Atoms split peuers
The Kinsmen Atom soccer squad hosted: the Clinton
Marauders at Brookside on May 20, scoring 7 goals to
the visitors' single. • •

The `save of the game' was by Caitlin Hamilton
defending the net from a penalty kick.
Goals were by Cory Hamilton from Torben Nielsen,
Buddy Charnney, Richard Elliott, Shea Hamilton from
Angie Bell, Richard Elliott (2) and. $.J. Mayer,
1n the team's game opener on May 13, the host team
Goderich Resorters won 5 to 2..
Goals were from Cory, Hamilton, with strong defence
by i'yler Nicholson and Torben. Nielsen.
Track and fieldseason
starts for Optimist club
Five, members from the
_Winghani Optimist Track
and Fieldclubparticipated
in their first meet of the
season, on May 17 in
Kincardine.
Hosted by the Saugeen
Track and Field Club; this
meet had athletes from
Guelph, . Brampton,'
Kitchener/Waterloo, Port
Elgin and Kincardine:
Two local athletes,

participated.
