Township., passed away May 23, 1997 in her 76th year. She was barn. in Ashfield Township on Nov. 24, 1921, to _George Saunders and Ruby (Ritchie). Saunders. Mrs. Broome was predeceased by her husband Reginald' Broome. whom she married on May 24, 1941. She .is survived by her children Mary and Ken Scheerer of Goderich; Tom and. Rose Broome,of Lucknow,.and Jackand Marlene Broome of Calgary, She also leaves" to mourn sisters. Violet Thompeon,•Wingham, and, Lottie 'Scott, Belgrave; brothers Gordon Saunders, Lucknow; , and Lloyd Saunders, Glencoe; six grandchildren and two great ' grandchildren. 'Earl .William Stever, of Kinloss Township, passed away May 18, 1997, at the Wingham and District 'Hospital, in his 76th year. For many years Mr. Stever °operated a garage in Heidelberg, before moving to alarm near Lucknovv. Mr. Stever was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church, Kincardine and the Lucknow and District Lions Club. He was born, in Linwood, Ontario, on-JUly 15,'1921, a" son of -the late Henry -arid Christena (Dechert) Stever. Mr. Stever is survived by his wife- 54 'years, Kathleen (Kuhl); childr"en Catherine and Bernie .Koebel .of Waterloo, and Doug Stever, of Kinloss Township; a sis- ter Edna•Millar, .of R.R. 1, Linwood; and two grand- daughters, Christina and Michelle Koebel, of Waterloo. Mr. MacDonald was born In Ashfield Township on Nov, 29, 1923 a son' of the late • Alexander and Annie (Johnstone)• MacDonald. He farmed all his life in Ashfield and was a member of the Ashfield Presbyterian Church. Dave will be remembered;: for playingthe, bagpipes for many years for.
