to high school days
It's Soundsation showtime again!
Yes, Soundsation's annual spring show
is just around the corner -. May 3Q and
31. The mufti-talentedshow group •of 80
plus voices and 12 member stage band is
ready to wow you again this year with
High School Reunion.
This year's 'repertoire will take you
back through different eras. You'll relish
Soundsation's performance of songs from
Grease, Mr. Holland's Opus, and some
doo wop'numbers. •
Under the direction of Byron Ballagh,
members practice every Sunday evening
to prepare for this ;yearly concert.
Soundsation began as an 'ember, left after
the fire of the Teeswater old. Boys'
reunion choir' in 1989, and continues, to
be based there although the group boasts
some of the best talent in four counties.
The group achieves 'music in motion'
thanks to choreographer Erin Howard, of
Mississauga. Her expertise adds pep and
energy to the show:
• .This year's MC is Phil Main, of
FM 102 fame. Main, an accomplished
musician and.song writer,.will perform as.
• well.
Don't miss• the High School Reunion.
Tickets are $10per, person,. and can be
obtained from any Soundsation member
or at the L: ucknow Cut and Curl locally.
