lesson imparted through concert
It is meat, and :drink to me to see a clown.
(Shakespeare's As You Like It) .
That opening quote summed up how I. felt after
viewing Brookside Public School's spring .concert.
"Clowns".
Clowns are thought to be people who entertain
with jokes or antics, but the Brookside clowns
.broughtan important message, through music, to all
who were privy to the performance.
The 90 some. students, all dressed incomplete'
clown costumes, including wigs and makeup were
"lookingfor the great secret of life.'"
They were entertaining, a joy to watch and they
lifted my spirit - the meat and drink.
Through the 45 -minute performanceseveral
clowns took turnstelling what they thoughtwas- the
great secret of life -. colors," tricks, dancing :..

the truth as discovered by "Bentley", The great ..
