Ah; three weeks of doing. what I
wanted, when I wanted ,to: Yes, I loved

I was in the slow lane. M the end . of
this trip was a basket case. Well, what
do you expect when the most lights I
encounter at night might be four vehi-
cles?
By the time trip number three rolled
around, I managed to .keep breathing
and relax somewhat. Trip number four,
during rush hour traffic, found me still
in' the slow lane, breathing, lightly
grasping the -wheel and I even managed
to pull out and pass someone going
even slower
than I was.

Somehow I managed to find myself
• all alone on -the 401 four times during
'my holidays. I chose the slow lanebut
slow still means speeds of up to 130.

When I finally: dared 'take my eyes off

Nighttime driving on the 401 is
another nightmare. Millions of lights
coming: at you in both directions. Again.

annual meeting of the Lucknow Business
Men's Association it was decided to revert to
Thursday afternoon.. for the observance of the weekly
half. holiday, y and the adoption of Daylight Saving
Time was•approved:

to ask -the. Lucknow Fruit Market to cooperate` by

The meeting voted approval of the adoption of
Daylight Saving Time, the opinion appearing to pre-
vail that withpractically all other district towns going
on "fast time", there was little:altemative for the sake
of uniformity
Clansmen dance - The Clansmen's tenth anniver-
sary dance

Auxiliary to the Canadian Legion.
Sow feeding 18 pigs on Ashfield farm - A sow
on the Irvin Farm is raising eighteen pigs and at the
time they are about two weeks old
Meal time is a busy time with these piglets who
have to eat in shifts. Fourteenfills the table so four of
the latecomers have to wait for the second sitting..
A sow feeding 'twelve pigs is considered as "good"
inagricultural circles.
